Left is Torbin, our young one, and on the right is Tristan,
Sadly my Tristan has passed away last week, he was diagnosed with leukemia. It was so hard to let him go,

Having been through similar- it’s simply horrendous.
Sorry

Horrible thing to read. Total pits when it happens. Stay strong. You’ve done the last heartbreaking, selfless act for your best mate and taken on the pain, so he can be relived of it and sleep silently. He knows he was totally loved. Thinking of you man

They can be very hyper but they can be trained to a high standard of command but they can have there loopy moments too but they are super friendly and make for a good addition to any family at as puppy’s they can be super destructive and that also can reappear in there second year……. For me l like the Gordon setter (brown and black) and English setter (tri colour) l had one of each not shown in the photo…….four in total

Sounds fun  My cockerpoo (and I gather cockerpoos in general) is/was very hyper, a right head banger, but as you described in you case, consistency and training has made her 100X better.

Try a Jackapoo for mental. Intelligence of the poodle with the bloody-mindedness of a Jack Russel. Ours has spent her whole life trying to kill the local wildlife. She’s 13 now and is starting to become semi feral.

This is Major. We got him from Battersea Dogs Home at a year old for a tenner in 1982 when he was a year old, we had to have him put down as his back legs had gone when he was 17. Couldn’t bring ourselves to replace him and our lifestyle changed. We did find out why he was in Battersea though , he tried to chew the house into pieces until he was about 9 then gave up, little ■■■■■■
