Probably been asked before on the old Forum but has anyone fitted one of these from MX5-Parts? Is there much extra noise and does it really help performance? This is for an early Eunos.
Thanks,
Chris.

New on here but fitted one of these last week to mine, already had a larini cat back system fitted and noise wise i would say it’s a little deeper but not over the top, complements the system nicely, haven’t noticed a massive change in performance but sure it’s made some difference, over all for £50 I’m well pleased, great finish and fit. Hope this helps. Stu
Thanks Stu. That very helpful. Sound like it’s the way to go. My car has the standard set-up apart from the 14 degrees timing advance so any other experiences would be welcome.
Fitted one to mine (I assume its the same from MX5parts) and it is a very well engineered piece of kit. I didn’t notice any significant increase in noise but I struggled to get the CAT off (bolts truly seized!) and ended up getting my local garage to do it. Charged me a tenner and they also commented on the quality and how well it slotted into place.
I have one of these from MX5parts. I bought it at the same time as the IL Motorsport stainless steel exhaust. I confess I was lazy and had it fitted (£50 labour) as I knew the bolts on the cat would be a pain. As it was the old cat took loads of heat and the bolts still sheared!
The mechnic commented on how well everything lined up, well done MX5parts.
