Thanks Mal.

I was looking at the route today, and one thing puzzled me. Points 15 & 16 say ā€˜Restricted - usage roadā€™ ā€˜Princeā€™s Driveā€™. Being a courtesy driver at Goodwood events I happen to know that Princeā€™s Drive is the Dukeā€™s private road from Goodwood House to the Racecourse through his estate. Normally the gates at either end of this are closed - have you got special permission for us to use this private road or something?

Thanks for that. I did notice that but unfortunately forgot to follow it up due to being busy at the time I did the route. I will look at a small diversion route to avoid Princes Drive :flushed_face:

Hi everyone,

As you will have seen from this thread, John Gibbs, who is more familiar with the Goodwood Area, kindly advised me of an issue with the previous route I posted that many of you have downloaded, for which I sincerely apologise :frowning:

I have duly revised the route, avoiding the private road and emailed it to John to cast his eye over again and it should be good to go now :crossed_fingers:

To save those doing the drive printing it off again, I have printed off a copy for each car attending, in A4 booklet form, which is 10 copies and will bring them with me to hand out at the rendevous point.
