If you are ever near Bridport or Weymouth take the coast road from either end, the views on this road are absolutely stunning, half way along you pass through Abbotsbury where there are some Tropical gardens.
The road hugs the coast and has plenty of twisty bits. Portland at the southern end is worth visiting too. East of Weymouth you have the famous Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door, part of the Jurassic Coast. But for pure driving pleasure the coast road is best, especially taking the Weymouth to Bridport direction.

I attempted this route back in October whilst staying in Bridport, sadly the police closed the road just before Abbotsbury on that particular day due to an incident.
