Our June run is to be held on Sunday 24th and is organised by Bob and Irene, Mob: 07973 123030, email: bobwall1@outlook.com. Meet at McDonald’s in Glyneath (SA11 5RF) from 10:00 am for a 10:30 am start and head up through the Brecon Beacons National Park arriving at the Visitor Centre near Libanus for a 45 min coffee/tea break.
We then leave the Brecons heading west towards Carmarthenshire eventually running along the edge of the Forest of Brechfa returning towards Llandeilo stopping for lunch at The Cottage Inn, Pentrefelin, SA19 6SD.
The meal choices are as follows;
Starters: *Prawn Cocktail, *homemade Pate’, *homemade Soup of the day.
Mains: *Beef, *Lamb, *Turkey. All with choice of veg
Desserts: *Choice of the day, all homemade.
3 Courses £12.50. 2 Courses £10.00.
All the above includes a free Tea/Coffee
It’s exclusive to MX5 Owners Club. The proprietor has agreed to allocate the dining room to us which can hold up to 65 persons comfortably seated at tables. As an added interest he will allocate our own parking area and he personally will look at the cars and choose one he most prefers and present to the owner a bottle of wine……no polishing of the cars after the run unless you’re short on wine!
