Spark plug socket size for 1.6 NB

  1. My model of MX-5 is: NB (Mk 2.5)

I’m looking to change my spark plugs but I’m seeing conflicting information about the size of socket I’ll need for them. I have the 1.6 litre mk2.5. Can anyone clear this up for me please?

You need one that is 5/8” (16mm) across the flats. These are sometimes marked as 10mm. Get one that’s as thin-walled as you can.
