Budget is ‘limited’- going thru a divorce, so need to get decent speakers to drown out the wailing …

I’ve just fitted the JVC speakers, same as the Mx5parts ones. Got mine off an eBay seller for less money free delivery. Added some sound deadening to the door skins and they produce a better clearer sound. Not ground breaking but certainly better than the stock speakers, just the job really.

And follow the instructions for wiring them in on Mx5parts website re which colour is pos/neg for each side.

Nice one Mick.
Just read thru the bumf, but it says these speakers wiill not fit the Bose system. May I need to think again…?
I’ll give MX5Parts a tinkle, see what they say

Ahh… thought you have the standard set up

Have a look through the forum re Bose speakers, a few have had niggles with them. May need a good secondhand speaker from eBay to replace it or them.
