Time: 10am meet for 10.30am depart
Meet at the services which has numerous eateries plus a Costa coffee and plenty of parking, please note when entering the services park to the right hand side which offers us more parking away from the public.
This is our first run of the 2018 season and a classic one at that through N Wales taking in some of the best driving and scenic roads N Wales has to offer and ending up at Llanwrst for a lunch stop and a return journey to Beaufort Park Hotel, New Brighton, Mold for our farewell stop.
We will have a 2nd pick up point in the car park adjacent to the Texaco Filling Station on Park Road LL15 1NB for approx 11.15am.
Please be ready for a quick pick up tagging onto the first group, hopefully.
(We May use this pick up point as a comfort stop as there are public conveniences nearby, route instructions show a comfort stop prior but we may exclude that stop)
Lunch stop in Llanwrst will be limited to 1.5 hours which will give us all enough time to recharge our batteries for the return trip which in our opinion is probably the best part of the run, not too be missed.
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ORGANISED LUNCH BUT THERE ARE CAFES AND PUBS IN THE TOWN.
Total run length 115 miles
Route instructions available on the day but will be available to download before if requested from the AC Ian Kilkenny.
Could you please let Ian Kilkenny know if you wish to attend, just for the hosts information to gauge numbers.
(One issue is the weather, there has been rumours that there may be another Beast from the East over the Easter period so we will play be ear but rest assured if the conditions are not safe you will be informed by email, forum or Area FB group)
