Steering boss extender?

Hi All,

I fitted a Momo steering wheel in my Mk1 using a (just about) suitable boss adaptor from ebay. Alas, the wheel position is now about 3cm or so further away than the old stock wheel, which I find makes quite a difference when driving - in fact, I could have done with the old one being a bit nearer anyway, perhaps I just have short arms.

My question: is it possible to get hold of a boss extender which will bring the wheel a bit closer? I’ve not managed to find anything so far. Or should I be looking around for a complete replacement boss which is a bit longer? Thoughts please!

Thanks! In fact, I’ve simply ordered a new boss to replace the dodgy ebay one I bought in the first place.
