SUTTON HOO National Trust

A few of us are heading to Sutton Hoo tomorrow for a little run and if anyone would like to meet up there, then we should be in the Car Park around Mid-Day (or slightly before depending on traffic etc).

Fingers crossed on the weather . . .

Had a super day, 220 miles of small A roads (A+3 numbers) and B roads (B+4 numbers) of which probably only 40 miles were on main A roads.  Very surprising.

We managed to drive top-down all the way there, had lunch and a nice walk around stunning grounds and exhibits, got hit by torrential rain and a thunder-storm for 15 minutes but found shelter, so didn’t get wet.

The pictures don’t do it justice but you can see the cloud build-up!

12 of us had a great day, even managed to drive half-way home with the top down before we remet the rain, now a heavy drizzle.
