When I used to hillclimb a decatted NA, it used to pop (little) flames on the start.

I suggested to a US microbrewer who boasted how he didn’t really care for beer, but could make a ton of money making it, that he ought to think about marketing beer butter as a way to get rid of waste.
quite true statement but I’m not really. In my car I still use cats (although sports high flow cats) so if I do chuck a load of fuel through them a glowing hot red catalyst will develop with a massive hole either through or on the side of the exhaust…
easier to go a bit quicker
