That pesky battery strap…
I wanted to remove the battery to top up the distillate and clean out the battery tray.
I don’t know what I was thinking but I decided to fully undo the nut from the j-bolt before removing the strap, to then remove the battery

Have you guessed where this is going…yup… I dropped the j-bolt which promptly wedged itself against the steering rack…jack car up, remove undertray and poke around until it falls out.

Reassembly
Wait , how did that happen …
I’ve dropped the other, front, j- bolt…which this time lodges itself against the cooler…
Second disassembly…retrieve bolt and reassemble jbolts and t bar away from car…
Finally all back together with a note to self to not overcomplicate matters…
