So… I like to chase hotair balloons, but on return from shopping there is one sooo low the other half wouldn’t wave then, wanted roof up so he wouldn’t be seen…in my car 
then… he wouldn’t let me chase it spoilling my fun…not that it’s that much fun of course

Whats all this about Rules? This old git doesn’t know what a Rule is. I just get nagged for not abiding by the Rules

It’s not fair, SHMBO broke her elbow on Wednesday . Two and a half days in hospital while I had to feed myself. She’s now home again and expects me to take her on the Tesco run, not only drive but push the trolley as well . Have explained she has 2 legs and 1 arm so I think she is being totally unreasonable as the store is only 5 minutes walk away so a few journeys there and back would have saved me all the stress and having to come home for a lie down with a large whiskey. Is it me 
I think its time to have a award for the old git of the month. You dont get anything as i’m a tight old git. but i think the winner for now to start it off has got to be Henny after that posting. Good one you old git

SHMBO means she should be obeyed, so of course you should drive her & push the trolley. Of course now you’ve had a whiskey you’ll be able to cook her dinner as well, oh, then there’s the hoovering. These people who say “SHMBO” then moan when we ask them to do something…

Well i am pleased to see the first little run done for this new month (september) and i am groaning all the way to march now as every weekkend is going to be cold wet dark an orrible.
and it is at this time of the year when i start looking at TIN TOPS
So i always stat looking on fleabay for cheap if not free tin tops , mot is also looming and today i noticed i was comeing up to 47k on the car i have only done 5k in the three years i have had it
the family car does 40k + a year so is a 1k a year car worth a tin top when it has a new mohair top on and lives in a garage?
