It has come to my attention that the OLD GITS require a logo, like the buccaneers (jolly roger)
In keeping with OLD GIT tradition i can’t be bothered to even start to design one. So if any of you group members have any idea’s we would be happy to see them.

Hope all you Old Gitt’s are coping ok with the snow.
I had a chauffeur for the day with a Vectra, but then I wasn’t allowed to drive anyway for 24 hours. Did see 1 mx5 out in it 
Not sure I’ll be able to get my 5 out of the garage yet

Going to tomorrow as the chauffeur & car not available , just hope I don’t meet the ‘ice skater’ we met in our road this afternoon who thought he could go usual speed down the road & brake as usual. His face was interesting when he went into a slide! (I can still moan)
Drove a “proper” Old Git’s car for the first time today - 'twas a Prius that had slid off the road nose down into a field by us.
Wasn’t coming out backwards, so managed to get it further into the field but at least level.
Then proceeded to zoom at 40mph across the 4" deep virgin snow about 1/3rd mile downhill to a field gate.
Don’t think the poor thing quite knew what was happening to it because there was a hell of a lot of bleeping and flashing from the dashboard!
A very strange beast it is too - and spectacularly useless in snow & ice!
