The Wessex Mid Weekers met yesterday for coffee, drive and lunch at The Bear & Ragged Staff, near Romsey. Considering the rain, a turn out of 23 members was very surprising.
Seems like the weather makes no difference to attendance - it is the company that matters!!
Wessex have been holding a Mid Week event on the Wednesday closest to the 15th of each month since April 2008. It was started up by Bob & Pat Hill with Ian & Moira Anders and has been growing in popularity ever since. It also means that Wessex always have a minimum of 3 meetings a month for members to enjoy.
