The Wethersfield diversion

Had to nip out of work this afternoon from Wethersfield to take the Focus for a new set of tyres, coming back from Braintree around the diversion (must be 15 miles at least) to avoid a 100 yd roadwork, saw four 5’s with the roofs off, You all looked very pleased. It was  a fine day for it.

I saw the diversions for that on my way to work … unfortunately I was driving the GF’s Tigra … although I do still have my hardtop on.

I actually think that people with convertibles generally do a lot more top down than they used to, not just 5 drivers… Its not uncommon now to see all sorts on the coldest of days with roof down.  I think its all to do with the smoking ban, as people are also more likely to be found sitting outside on a cold day as well, which used to be a rare sight… as a nation we are getting hardier… (maybe!)
