Does anyone know if the tourneau cover for a Mark 1 will fit a Mark 2 and vice versa? I know the hoods are the same but not sure if the fixing studs are in the same locations?
From what I’ve read, I think the fixings are not just in different places, but are different. So effectively the tonneaus aren’t interchangeable Mk1 to Mk2 - at least not unless you change the fixings. Which is probably more of a pain than sourcing the correct tonneau!
My understanding is the roof on the mark 1 folds slightly flatter than the mark 2, due to the glass screen, so they are not interchangeable for that reason (and possibly fixings as a related item).
