Or the place up the road has Michelins on offer so I might be able to get Michelin Pilots for 100 each but I really don’t want to spend 400 quid on tyres!
Anyone got any ideas. I’m after the best balance of a decent tyre with price.
At Mytyres.co.uk the Toyo Proxes T1R are only, 77.50 each (about twice as much as on a 15 inch wheel however!!)
And what about Goodyear F1s, very popular with 5 owners… £85.50

Having had the Toyos in 195 50 15, I reckon they are very good, excellent grip, so that will possibly be my choice on my MK2.5 which desperately needs new tyres… [:$]
I put a set of 4 Michelin Pilots (195 50 15 though) on my mk2 for £160 late last year from Costco when they were running an offer. Don’t know if you have a costco locally but if you have it could be worth checking with them and may be worth the membership fee unless you know someone with a card
no, supply and delivery, its £5-£10 a wheel to get someone to fit… have a look at etyres, they do mobile fitting and their prices are usually very competitve.
Someone was doing £10.00 off 4 Toyos a little while ago, making them a particularly good buy… that could have been blackcircles…
It was camskill doing the deal on the Toyo’s £115 delivered for 2 which I wish I had taken as even with local fitting wuld have beaten all local places. Even at the new prices they beat my local dealers.
