Am scheduled to part with my ND in 24 hours time so looking for an NA as a potential replacement.
Mileage, age, colour unimportant but condition is key - has to be A1 and need no structural / remedial work.
Ideally non-modified (or at least subtle mods only). Would prefer to avoid the later, lower powered 1.6.
Also looking for a Toyota GT86 - bit random, but if you know of anyone selling… 
I have owned a Toyota GT86 for 3 years, its an excellent car. Worth a look at the owners club website for GT86 cars or sale, often some nice motors on there.

Still searching, plenty out there it seems but not found the right one for my circumstances, yet.
How much are you looking to spend?
Budget is £6k but it will be ungaraged and used in all weathers.
I’m 6’ 4" and can’t fit comfortably in an '86 but fit fine in a '5 
I don’t seem to be having much luck in my quest - either I’m too picky or my expectations are far off kilter with reality. 
In my experience its worth being patient
apulfermx5 has a NA that he is “restoring” on the thread “To buy or not to buy”. Not sure what his plans are for the car, but may be worth asking him?
I suspect you are right though there’s also the argument to move quickly if you see one that ticks all the boxes.

Hi, I have a 1995 1.8. I’ve owned it from new. It has 46k on the clock as I only drove it to and from work in London but I got a bike when the congestion charge came in 
. It’s not perfect in that it has a few scars from being parked on the street in London and I had to replace the top about 10 yrs ago because it was vandalised. I was about to post it for sale. It has MOT to Oct 21. Let me know if you want to speak about it.

I am about to sell my sons NA 1.8 BERKELEY SPECIAL EDITION. It is 1998 in Sparkle Green. We had some welding on outer sill done at Sam Goodwin MX5 specialist in Nuneaton recently with a service/ cam belt change. He described the car as one of the best UK cars he’s seen.
