Hi, plenty of 6 speed gear knobs around, but looking to source a replacement 5 speed

Are you replacing a worn one, if so and the 5 speed insert is in good nick they can be swapped over to say a good 6 speed one.

Must be of the same type though me thinks.

It’s the 5 speed insert that I am actually after, as it looks like a previous owner tried to clean it with sand paper !

Damage from rings maybe.

Can you not polish it out??

Start off with wet and dry and finish with T cut??
