I have water coming through the passenger footwell whenever it rains. I’m not sure if there is a blockage somewhere causing this?

Usually the plastic grommet things under the windscreen scuttle: they have foam seals underneath but they degrade. It’s a 30 minute job to repair both sides, have a google for videos showing the process. You’ll need the grommets and some spare caps for the scuttle, readily available from MX5Parts, and a bit of silicone for a belt-and-braces job. Just needs some care when removing the old ones so as not to bend the panel: try to push the four little clips in one by one rather than just levering the part out. (Once the parts arrive you’ll see where the clips are: a small screwdriver helps unclip them.) Here’s mine. I have slightly shaky hands so I’m sure some people’s silicone is a neater job
