Water drip from on driver and passenger sides

Hi, I’m getting water dripping on me when it’s not even raining. I’ve tried to attach a photo - small droplets form on the metal soft top mechanism on both sides (the square tubes above the windows if that makes sense) It’s as if water is being stored somewhere within the soft top and then drips later. This happened yesterday when it hadn’t rained for about 36 hours.
Has anyone else experienced this? And any ideas on solving?

Open the windows and let some air into the cabin, it must be condensation forming on the metal frame.

I keep one of those dehumidifier bags in the cabin if the car is going to sit for a few days. Helps keep condensation to a minimum.

I would suggest that you clean all the rubber seals with car shampoo and then treat them with a rubber conditioner (I use Gummi Pflege).

This will help to prevent water getting in.

Keep the air-con switched on if you are driving with the roof up (unlikely, I know) it will help to dry the interior.

Keep a cloth bag containing two or three kilos of rice in the car and this will absorb moisture from inside the car.

And don’t use “recirculate” after that initial warm up.
Cold outside air has low humidity compared to what we breath out, so giving the air-con and heater drier air helps a lot.

Thanks to all for your responses. I just wonder though if it’s condensation wouldn’t there be steamed up windows as well ? The only sign is this dripping

Coldest part is first to drip.

My conservatory roof has a similar problem with the ribs supporting the insulated sheet.

And nice clean windows are more resistant to steaming up.
