Water leaking into boot - HELP!

Keep getting a really damp smell in the cabin of the car. Turns out there’s water getting into the boot and fogging up the windows. How do I stop this from happening???

Also, the left side of the car hit a curb & has damage (hence not being out on any runs!). I have the front wheel replaced but need to get the rear one done. However, the front left wheel wobbles & makes noise when on full left lock. Is this an axle problem? It passed the mot no probs but there are definitely things that need looked at. Anybody know what this might be? Thanks ??

Are you sure it’s damp as in leaking in the boot? maybe just condensation off the underside of the boot lid dripping, has been known. The Mk3 have had problems with leaks from the windscreen scuttle panel, check your cabin floor carpets are dry and also the hood drains are clear.

The wheel wobble could be suspension/steering component damage resulting from the kerb damage you mention. If it’s wrecked your alloys then it needs checking by a specialist, preferably an MX-5 specialist.

Chris whereabouts are you? I am in Bangor and could have a look at it if you are anyway near. The water leaking into the boot is almost certainty a blocked drain from the hood.
