A great drive by Diane & Terry last night. We started at Sainsbugs, Oliver’s Battery for a prompt 7pm departure and were very soon we were into open countryside.
A really excellent MX5 road we drove along was “Port Lane”. What a delight it was to drive on this single track road, with passing places, as it was very scenic and we were very lucky in not meeting anything at all.coming towards our 11 car convoy. Just a solitary cyclist travelling in the same direction for us to negotiate.
We finished at The Bear & Ragged Staff, where we all partook in the excellent culinary delights offered there![]()
All in all a lovely evening and grateful thanks go to Diane & Terry for organising this one for us and it was good to see Terry in good spirits.
On a final note, it was good to see John join us in his Soul Red RF, on his first run with Solent. We hope John had a good evening and hope to see him on future runs. Also, great to see Caroline & Nick in their recently acquired, stunning Mk3.5, may it give them miles of smiles??
