Had a long blast around the muddy back roads of Beds & Bucks today so thought i better give it a good shine when i got home.
Even remembered to clean the headlamps for a change [Y]
Roll on summer!

love it when they shine like this!!!
Looking very nice Dave [:D]
Bet them wheels are harder to clean than mine tho!!
Looks good - is that the hardtop coming off now,or was it posing for a picture?
Well it came off this weekend as the sun was out!
Just bought the side fixing brackets & intended fitting them after id cleaned the car but visitors stopped play so will have to do that another day.
Not sure i really need a hardtop to be honest as its garaged & i don
t drive it much this time of year…usually once a week to keep things moving.
Keep toying with the idea of selling it but then again its nice to have & would certainly help the resale value if i ever decided to change the car (for another 5 of course). But who knows? Maybe i
ll get an offer i can`t refuse for it [;)]
My favorite colour (very biased) and agree, the wheels must be hell to clean. Looking good.
Suprisingly the wheels arn`t that bad to keep clean. I just use a brush then a cloth covered finger fits in the smaller spaces. Will have to re-polish the rims in the summer though.
Agree about the colour [Y] I used to drive a BRG MGB in a former life so it was the only colour i looked for.
B.R.G. The best colour for a Mk 1. (I would say that wouldn’t I) [:$]
Car does look good and I think those wheels are great!
A nice looking Mark 1 there Dave
Cheers
Ben
Very nice Dave, I stil haven’t cleaned mine since I bought it, apart from the odd bird deposit here and there I don’t think it needs it…
Will be investing in some Auto Glym soon though no doubt!
Very nice indeed. I love your wheels, what make and size are they???

15 " They were fitted to a Limited Edition of 250 UK MX-5s in 1991. According to the brochure (link below) they are made by BBS but i have heard differant & keep forgetting to take one off & look.
