Just a quick poll so I can get an idea of how desperately some things need sorted

I’m on BT Yahoo, which is based on IE 7
Well, I’ve added my vote … but … I have to ask, how have you managed to add a poll to a thread? I asked weeks ago about adding a poll facility, and was told that the facility existed but the forum admins didn’t want to turn on that particular option.
Although I use Firefox most of the time, I find Opera is also very good.

As you say, the functionality has always been there, but only available to admin/mods.
I’ll do a wee investigation and see if there is any reason why it was never sorted to allow normal members - if memory serves, that was the plan (but maybe my memory doesn’t).

I’ve setup polls on most of the forums. Some I’ve not bothered since polls are not necessery (for sale) for instance.
