What Exhaust System To Get For The 5

 I’m looking at 3 systems, but i’m not sure what one to choose, there are 2 in Moss Mx5, 1’s a Borla sport twin exit, the second one being a Cobalt single 4" rolled exit and the 3rd is off e-bay, again thats a twin exit jap/slash cut, but i don’t klnow what they sound/look like on the car.

Anyone with them already fitted??

 has anyone seen or heard these systems, i don’t fanct a system where the tail pipes are too small.

 i’ve ordered a Borla Twin Exit Exhaust from Moss MX5, hopefully it’s going to sound good, anyone heard them??

 thanks all for the advice shared, i bought the borla and fitted it last week and it sounds absolutley mint not too loud at all, a lovely tuned note, the 5 shouldhave ad it fitted as STD, plus the twin exit looks ideal, it really finishes the back end off

I have been thinking about changing mine at some point so will bear the borla in mind.Did you tell your insurance company and if so how much did they load your premium?

 i have the borla exhaust fitted to mine, mines a single exit  though and i love it tbh its not 2 loud and i love it as its different to the others, hope you enjoy yours as much as i do mine [H]

 indeed, it seems to frowned upon when “modding a car” either that or you just get blanked, my insurance went up by £27… bargain i say, :slight_smile:

Does anyone know the difference between the Borla Sport and Touring exhausts? Is the Sport louder?

Sorry i didnt see this before. I dont know the sounds myself, but in mx-5 circles th eBorla has been a fav for years.

Always fancied one myself but picked up a racing beat on eaby cheap.

Hope you love the Borla, bow find some tunnels :wink:
