What have you done to your MX-5 today? (Part 2)

Where did you get that steering wheel done? @GCZSPORT

Trusty old Royal steering wheels. Think it was about £175. Really good service, got a looooong phone call to go over exactly what I wanted… Types of leather, padding etc… they can do a lot more exotic wheels than I have but I wanted just a good old round wheel with smooth leather top and bottom and perforated at the sides.

I do have an old wheel you can have if you need something to use while you send yours off if that helps… You can have it for postage cost… It’s not pretty and has a couple of chunks out of the leather but still safe / useable.

I use a full cover even in the garage. It has little vent flaps next to the windows and i leave the windows down an inch or ywo.

Renovo’ed my roof … Looks awesome, excuse the dirty windows lol

Washed it / Rearranged the dirt!

I even tried to clean the long-neglected alloys and they now look almost acceptable (after all, its called ‘Wonder Wheels’ not ‘It’s a Dead-set Miracle Wheels’)

I will now got for a drive after tea and undo all the work

I made a thing. The cats aren’t happy, but the roof remains fur-free and un-plucked.

Superb idea, get on the phone to the patent office immediately!

I’m not the first. I think I got inspiration from someone on here.

beats a double barrel shot gun   sorry just a joke before some one takes it the wrong way…!

That would make a mess of the roof too.

Brilliant!

What’s that spiky stuff called?

I need to find some to put on my solar powered lamps and fox repellers in the garden.

The pigeons like sitting on solar panels, and each time they take off they release their excess ballast which eats into the covering of the panels!

It’s this stuff Woodside Prickle Strip Dig Stopper, Anti Dog & Cat Scat Mat, Garden An – Outdoor Value
