Sorry I wasn’t being secretive, I just assumed that the reference to Goodwin would be enough.
Camber -1.2ª on all wheels.
Castor 7ª
Toe in 1.6mm front and rear.
I’m a geriatric and my days of limit driving are well past so my aim was to get something that subjectively felt lighter and more responsive which I seem to have achieved. On fast changes of direction the rear end feels a bit more composed but again that is highly subjective.

Hi Ryan. Welcome here, and great to hear about your new car. Unfortunately, your picture uploads didn’t work, so we can’t see the work that you’ve done. Have another go at uploading the pics?
Removed the exhaust resonator and replaced it with a delete pipe from ebay, coupled with the gravity performance exhaust it’s deepened the tone a bit, made it a bit louder/raspier and more “sports car” sounding than before.
I haven’t tried it on the motorway yet so I don’t know what it’ll be like at a higher speed but so far I’m happy.
It’s also saved a few KG in weight from under the car and it looks nicer so that’s always good.
Fitted a new front grille. A Zunsport one, in black. With thanks to @Wardy5 for technical assistance and expertise!
I think it gives the car a little more … presence.

Ordered the ACC power controller to keep things operating till I open my door. It looks bit fiddly to fit but it will be worth it so I can finish a conversation on the phone, listen to a song etc, without having to keep the engine running.
I think an added bonus is that I’ll be able to open my roof with the key fob.

Hi Kiwidave. Never crossed my mind that you were being secretive. Thanks for the info. All that Paul Roddison would tell me was that he increased the front castor to the max achievable (that does vary car to car) and increase the camber on the front wheels a little. He did not put as much negative camber on the rear wheels in order to maximise the contact patch hence grip when putting down the power (power!?
) in a straight line. Less camber on the rear would also make the car oversteer a bit more on corners. What I will say, is that the tyre wear on all the tyres is remarkably even. I was very happy. However, what is also worth noting, is that all these geometry figures quoted for improving the handling are within the very large variation allowance found on the factory standard cars, which maybe why there seems to be such different opinions on how a standard unmodified car handles!

Did you use the “Streetwise” number plate surrounds? I’ve fitted them to my ND with the Zunsport grille. Surround screwed in through the grille then number plates fitted to the surround screw free. Same method used at the back.
I’ve actually got two sets of plates, legal ones and ,ahem, sorry officer, forgot to remove the show plates.
Plates attached to the surround with Velcro.

It’s the half grille version, so fits around the standard UK plate surround

The key fob opening will only work with all 3 units fitted (the main unit the one you have bought and the one that fits in the drivers door) and to make life a little easier if you have a pair of long handle needle pliers to get to the connection under the steering wheel…that will help I had mine 4+ years now all good … but you can go through the key fob batteries very quickly …

No problem, perhaps that wasn’t the best choice of word. Yes, the numbers all fall in the Mazda range, the trouble is the massive tolerances that Mazda use - as long as the wheels are still attached to the car it will be fine! As you say that is why there are such differing opinions about a ‘standard’ car, plus of course ones individual preference for steering/handling. All I know is I am much happier with it now!

I wasn’t too sure about the roof opening. Not a problem as I’ve primarily bought it for the radio function but thanks for the heads up as I may have bee trying for hours to get the roof to work
I have needle pliers so hopefully they are long enough.

It can be Aa little bit of a faff to fit that connection if you have large hands all so get some cushioning for your back it can get a little uncomfortable as theres not much room under there good luck …

Now I have made the decision to keep the car and not do a trade in or sell it I will be putting a few more miles on it this year …!

She’s finally back on the road for the summer after I finished the bumpers, one patch panel, wheels, brakes, exhaust.
I made my rear bumper myself to work on my fiberglass and body work skills.
Same with welding the rear right fender.
Still needs the other fender and full coat of paint but that’s the joys of a long term project.

No pliers or lying on my back as I could do everything through the steering wheel when extended fully out and up. Just a long screwdriver to pop the retaining clip.
Radio stays on after switch off plus roof opens on key fob without the 3rd unit fitted in the door - what a bonus…
I haven’t got the timings for the double press quite right at the moment so your observation about batteries will come true very quickly.
