Hi I hope I can have some help I am looking to put new wheels and tyres on my car can someone tell me the best size wheels i.e 15.16.17 thanks

You won’t go far wrong with 15" wheels. The best tyres for these rims are nice and cheap and IMHO they are the best handling size. HTH[H]
I have 14’s, as nature intended! I will put 15’s on when my tyres wear out. Seen some cracking deals on wheels and tyres that make the cost of the wheels themselves next to nothing! My 14’s are aftermarket 5 spokes and look nicer than the standard eunos items so am quite happy at the moment.
I have seen pics of mx5’s wearing 17’s and IMO they look a bit too big and a bit too ‘max power-ish’. But it is all down to choice…
15’s as bigger wheels give the “all wheel no tyre” look a bit like the tail wagging the dog. Ultimately it’s your choice, but a good wheel company will give you the time to try a few sets on your car to see what looks the best.
Larger wheels will allow the (more expensive) new technology tyres to be fitted. The “right” size is the original size.
And what car may this be? NA, NB, NC?
15’s if it a mark one.
On only looks alone, tiny MX-5 brakes look silly behind 17’s !
