I’ve just had the car MOT’d (had it 3 months) and one of the advisories was that the rear offside tyre was worn on the inside. So maybe some Goodyear F1s to match the fronts are in order as well as getting the geometry checked. Is there a specialist in this area that people can recommend (and trust).
The other advisory was that the front discs were pitted. They are certainly rustier than I would like. Any recommendations as to suppliers of discs?

I should have said that I’m near Norwich.
I believe Scole Engineering are quite well respected in your area.
Have also heard good things about Scole Engineering. Worth a call.
I went to ‘Wheels in Motion’ and they were great. Might be a bit too far for you though as they
are based in Buckinghamshire.
Hi Steve
I could highly recommend “Scole Engineering” as I use them myself, a good job at a good price.
As for discs, there are many suppliers, all featured in the Softtop Hardtop club magazine, if your not a member yet try Mx5parts.co.uk or Sftmx5parts.co.uk.
Steve.
If you’re looking for somewhere in Norwich, Autotest on the Airport ind est do a decent job.[H]. HTH Neil
Both my son and I have had our cars done at Scole Engineering and were very happy with the results. Totally transformed the handling of my car.
Thanks for all the replies.
What kind of cost are we talking about here for a check and align?
I believe it was about £50 about 2 years ago.
