Ashbourne then on to Leek, such a lovely day, then this happenedā¦
Car park prang, not in the car myself but when we returned the vehicle owner that clipped it was waiting for us.
Iām off for a body shop quote tomorrow.

The plastic bumper has a crease, paint missing and itās slightly pushed in to the headlight.
The driver was close to tears, her first prang, she waited 30 minutes for me to return to the car. Anyways itās going to get sorted one way or another, depending on cost.
Thatās not good, but hopefully it didnāt damage the wing.
I can see them saying new colour matched bumper.
We all know how difficult it is to blend these pearlescent paintsš
From the photo, that looks very fixable, Mick. A good body shop may still want to blend in the lower part of the wing to lose any colour difference. A experienced painter should also do several colour cards to get the best match possible too. Choose your repairer wiselyā¦.ask questions and be fussy.

Itās going to be as you say, a blending in job to the wings and maybe the bonnet too.
Had a good chat with a body shop this morning (took the car there) heās carried out work Iāve seen on my neighbours car and a members car too.
They are rammed with work ATM so itās going to be a few weeks. No bother there I just want it doing properly which they say can be achieved.

Car pranged on Wednesday, got a quote for the repair Thursday, repair booked in and will be done in just over 2 weeks.
The other driver has just paid for the repair to be carried out.
Ok Iād rather not have had the car damaged in the first place but there are genuinely nice people out there who care about doing to the right thing. I am honestly delighted and also surprised at the outcome.
My Recaro will be looking good again.
