I am tempted by the slightly less expensive Nuvi 2455. It has UK/Ireland/Europe maps and free update to current maps within 90 days of purchase. It also supports the Trip Planner features of Tyre.
I also like the PhotoReal Junction View feature. Not sure I need/would use voice activation or Bluetooth etc.
If you click on Tools - Preferences in Tyre, at the bottom of the pop-up window you can change the default to Garmin and you get a Garmin button on the Menu bar in lieu of the TomTom one.

yes, will have a look at that, agreed on not needing voice and bluetooth, but the other garmin is like really thin… sun is shining here now, believe it or not…
