Got a wave from a grey ND today near Bromley, wen out for a drive because the weather was lovely, sadly I only ran into one MX5, but 1 for 1!
And I exchanged a cheery wave with a lady driving another MX5 in Stockport this week
Can we all agree that the wave is not dead, but sometimes even 5 drivers can be focussing on something else, distracted by something else, a bit slow to react etc etc. I do try to be alert for other 5s and to respond or initiate the wave. I also try not to judge any other 5 driver if my wave is not returned and hope to receive the same understanding.

Got 100% from 4 mx5s today. 3 nds and an Nc all in and around goodwood area whilst on a trip to breakfast club. Result!

Indeed, amongst the other lunatic drivers, illegal crazy e-scooterists and some inconsiderate cyclists, there are the lunar crater sized potholes, nay Grand Canyons, to keep an eye out for, so occasionally I miss the oncoming MX-5!!

Was on the M62 eastbound yesterday in my light blue ND and received and acknowledged a wave with another light blue ND just as they were about to turn off at the A1 northbound junction.
Caught a wave from a Greyish Mk4 Roadster reg RF67 ish in Watford yesterday on it was going north bound on the A411 while I was going south in my red Madge
Exchanged waves with an ND (RF I think ) on the A25 near Abinger/Gomshall today. Which was nice.
No MX5’s today. Waved at a very old Porsche that was much the same size as the MX.

Three mX5 in five cars on the ring road of Penzance. Must have been together? Two ND & one NC. Not a wave between them. Because of the traffic the closing speed was all of 15mph. Just like there is anti-matter; maybe there is an anti-forum out there where you get points for not waving?

Couple in a copper red MK3 going anticlockwise on the M25 around M1 / Watford you were in Lane 3 I was in Lane 1 going the same way. Hope you had a good trip and arrived at your destination safely.
Had a fantastic ‘double flip’ of the headlights in Cheadle Hulme, today, followed by an enthusiastic ‘thumbs up’!

Can confirm the wave is alive and well here, we passed two MX’s yesterday on our way to Sheringham Park, one an NA I think and the other a white ND convertible, waves given and received by both .

Got a light flash and wave from silver NC near dunwich in Suffolk today! I’ve concluded my home county Hertfordshire is least likely to return waves. 4 blanks on drive out last night haha

Pulled out behind an NB that didnt notice me. Looked tidy and lowered. We were in mostly restricted areas but I did notice he held back at one point to show off some serious acceleration. If you have it, flaunt it. It was obviously tuned but didn’t quite seem turbo. Turned off down to Praa Sands.
Total rubbish around Cheltenham today.
One half-hearted finger lift out of five MX-5s.
None of the others had their roof down either
