i have an 1990 eunos and the other day i put the wrong type of fuel in !!rather than filling up with premium unleaded i put the other sort of unleaded in(cant remember the name of it at this time)would that exsplain the poor performance at the moment??

I always use normal unleaded in my 92 Eunos, I thought that premium was a waste of time with older engines?

Doesn’t matter what you put in, if it burns it makes the car go forward…I believe these days depending on what petrol station you go ‘Premium unleaded’ is just linguistic garnish for ‘normal’ and then Super Unleaded is ALWAYS super and 97 RON or higher…this is only needed if your car is turbocharged or supercharged.
What are your poor running symptoms and when did they start?
it just had lack of power until the engine warms up i had the same problem a month ago for a couple of weeks then it just went away and has been fine since,until i put the super unleaded in by mistake,then it started again.
going to run the tank right down to empty then refill it.
