You have, or have had, an MX5, but then bought another make of car

In 2018 I sold my 2016 2ltr ND 2ltr Sport, and bought a new Toyota GT 86 - an excellent drivers car and a quality motor. I really enjoyed the ownership experience.

However I did go back to an MX5 some years later.

Seat Leon Cupras are great. Lighter than the Golf R, still very practical, and have that 2.0 EA888 engine. Also the cheapest 300hp used hatchback you can find.

I was speaking to an MX-5 owner today who said that it was his favourite of many sporty hatchbacks he’d driven and great for occasional track days.

I miss my 290 ST, but when her car was up for chopping in she wouldn’t drive mine. So I had to p/x it for hers and I got my 5.
