I polished and waxed it again last week then took it to the car show at Beacon Park Lichfield.
Quite a few admirers of the shiny red paintwork, makes it all worthwhile, spoke to a few other MX-5 owners and would be owners.
More work cleaning and protecting a 5 with Gyeon Can Coat

Decontamination of paintwork. (Clay and Waxoff)
Roof washed and Power Cleaned with my Portable ‘Rug Doctor’ (Client proofing it himself)
Car washed again and dried
Inspection of paintwork with Paint Thickness Gauge + it revealed quite a few scratches…Easily removed with Finishing Pad and Polish via my Flex VRG Machine Polisher = Polished up the whole car
Car wiped down with Gyeon Prep to remove polishing oils
Paintwork applied with Gyeon Can Coat Ceramic Sealant and buffed off
Lunch
Wheels and shuts applied with Sonax BSD Sealant
Tyres dressed with Power Maxed Tyre and Trim Dressing
Windows cleaned with PM Glass Cleaner
Another layer of Gyeon Can Coat Ceramic Sealant and buffed off
Left for 30 mins
Applied a coat of Gyeon Cure and buffed off

Its ‘Detail’ my own car day today.
Many Clients’ cars done, but I have really neglected my paintwork recently.
So decided to give the car a full decontamination with ‘Autobrite WaxOff’, ‘Bilt Hamber’ Clay Bar and ‘Gyeon Q2M Prime’ via my VRG ‘Flex’ Polisher with a finishing pad
Then the awesome ‘Gyeon Q2 Can Coat’ Ceramic Sealant. There was 2 coats applied …An hour apart.
Finished off with ‘Gyeon Cure Q2M’ after another hour
Reflections are more difficult on a white car, but Ive never seen the Paintwork ‘Pop’ as much
Car cover going on tonight to protect it from Dew and possible rain…24 Hour Cure time & No Car wash for a week!!!
It will be maintained with Gyeon Bathe+ and Gyeon Cure

Didn’t realise the white NC had been replaced, someone got a very nice car there when you sold it I guess.
Mine’s not been touched with a microfibre cloth for a while, apart from washing that is more like wet n dry at the moment and I don’t mean the weather.

I have to say that is some dedication … Showroom condition ! In fact i would say better I thought I cleaned my 5 well you put me to shame I need to up my game
