Bought my first Mx5 back in 2017, a 1.8 red Mk2.5 with some rust on arches, dodgy red paint, patched rear sills and a noisy release bearing - but it was cheap, had 6 months Mot and was so much fun!
In 2019 I had the sills, arches and paintwork done professionally and cavity waxed. This is the work I’ve payed to have done.
Jobs I’ve done myself are front chassis legs, cam belt, camshaft seals and all brakes. Next job will be gearbox out and new clutch & release bearing. This car is for keeps!

I also recently bought a 1999 1.6 mk2 Roadster import Mot failure which I’ve just cut out the rear sills and replaced and will be going for Mot and up for sale soon.
Next project will be a Mk1 I think.
