Amazing, even after many years, some new little factoid about the Mk1 comes to my notice; the throttle bodies on 1993-1995 1.8 Roadsters differ from 1996-1997 Roadsters (the Sr2 versions, with the green Roadster badge on the rear). The later cars used a bigger throttle body, a linear throttle, and a smoother body:
