Perhaps 3/5 years back I’d have said no. Not now. It is what it is. Very rare in such condition.
Very possibly the last of it’s ilk mileage, overall nick, and with gift pack which you never see now.
No gold 10th badge though. SWMBO has three somehow…but no 10AE.
Really strange that the car has a history of the headlamp being constantly off aim. Almost like soneone had removed the headlights at one time and never fitted them back properly. Something happen to it in 2008?
Don’t think it has the original radio.
Ulimately it depends on how those 18,000 miles were put on. If it was a mile to Tescos and back everyday for 19 years, I wouldn’t want it. The comments on worn bushes might indicate its seem some speed hump action.
Setting aside what it’s worth… I must say - along with the Icon (the Art Vin Rouge one from around 1999) this is my favourite Mk2 limited edition.
I hope it finds a good home !

My favorite NB special edition too and that looks like a lovely example (in the photos anyway). I wonder if they’d consider a straight swap for an RS Ltd

I’ve a feeling Robbie, they would have need to give you cash on top of that RS these days.
For me, your RS is by far the more desirable medium to long term if not now and I think I’ll not be isolated in that opinion. I wish I’d never sold my Droopsnoot “Fishnet” Escort RS or my Crappee 2.8i Spesh.
