15" race wheels

Help / advice wanted. I’ve got a Mk1 with 15" after market wheels, and its been lowered by about 40mm. I use it mostly for track days and I am wanting to get a spare set of 4* 15 " wheels that I can fit Toyo R888s or other type semi-slicks for track events. However I don’t know what wheel spec I should be looking for in terms of offset etc etc. I have the tech manual for the Mk1 but that only lists the spec for 14" wheels, the oroginal size. However I dont want to get 14"s as it is harder to get cheap tyres for them. Can anyone advise what I should be looking for?

Or better still has anyone got a set for sale?

cheers John

PCD 100mm, offset ideally 40-45mm.

Factory Mk1 15" wheels (BBS etc) were 45mm. factory Mk2 15" wheels were 40mm.

Interestingly the racers in the Ma5da Racing MX-5 championship use the following wheels:

Rota Slipstream 15x7 28mm offset

or

Team Dynamics Pro Race 2, or Pro Race 1.2 15x7 with either a 25mm or 30mm offset

All are fitted with 195/50 15 tyres.
