I think that’s enough self indulgent punctures now
That is quite a stretch I ran 15x9 ET 0 on my mk1 with a slight stretch on the tyres (can’t remember the actual size) and had to fit wide arch kit, cutting away the wing arch sections front and rear to accommodate the new wheels. Your suggestion would give an over reading from standard on the speedometer of roughly 9%. Not as bad as under reading I guess. Would arch rolling be enough? You’re pushing the rims out quite a lot from standard and increasing the rim width too. I too would like to see pictures
Hi, yes 15x9 ET 0, I got the wheels ( genuine BBS RS071’s) with deep dish alloy rims, beautiful wheels, I paid more for them than I did for the Eunos when I first bought it you might be OK at 15x8 but it’s the offset, +48mm on a mk1 IIRC so already pushing it out by that much plus a 6.5J standard rim, a lot narrower. Good luck any way, hope your arches are sound? It could make a mess of them if they’ve seen any filler over the years
I’m not too bothered by the bodywork as its going to the spray shop at the end of July. I need to sort the wheels and do all the pulling and rolling before it goes. I guess I wont know until I get the suspension in and wheel and tires on!
