Hi all,
Just changed my alloys to some 17" OZ Racing Formula HLT’s. I am very happy with them, ordered from Italy & arrived in 4 days which is pretty fast!
Offset of 45 (Standard Mazda alloys were 55) so the 10mm gained fleshes out the arches without the need for additional spacers.

Perfect against the body colour.
Just on the brake upgrade if you buy from MX5 parts in Portsmouth, fitting is FOC!!

Hi, Thanks for that! Yes, I called them last week, they were just waiting for the steel lines to come in!
I will probably sort it next week.
Cheers.

Nice, I will stick that in my expanding urban dictionary then. Cheers.
Have you made any compensations in alignment considering the change in offset?
If so, how did you calculate?

Hi, only a 10mm offset difference from stock.
I had a full geo set up done by BBR when I did the Koni/BBR suspension and a quick call to BBR before the change confirmed that the geo wouldn’t alter by changing the wheels at all, just a slightly wider track. I have to say that the handling was good before but is even better now, very stable.
