1990 Mk1 BBR 1.6 Turbo for sale
Silver 104k, MOT until 23 May 2025.
Reluctant sale due to a recent move which when I bought this car wasn’t part of the plan! No longer have the garage space. I have a load of history including the original Mazda service books and BBR turbo installation. Only 2 former keepers. There is a gap in the history of the car when it was exported by the original owner who then didn’t use it and left it in storage. The previous owner to me purchased the car in April 2020 and also stored it until last April when it was part recommissioned. I purchased the car August 2024 and the Mx5 Restorer team have done their ultimate service together with a load of other works to the tune of nearly £2.5k. Car drives so well now. Interior is ok with a patched bolster. Unfortunately what now lets the car down is the bodywork. The original owner obviously got the car re sprayed poorly at some point and there is rust in the usual areas now and both wings are dented due to poor storage. I can not be certain it will pass another MOT, but I’m no expert. Please therefore consider this an ongoing (but running well) project. Currently the soft top has a split rear screen which I have taped up. I have a Hard top (Laguna Blue) available separately. If you want any further information or pics please message me.
