That looks a very nice example [Y]
Would be a tad worried about the front number plate restricting air to the radiator though!
Excellent example [Y]
i agree looks very very clean…wish mine was that clean! [:)]
Very very nice,
Can’t beat a Mark 1 in Classic Red!
You’re car gets a big [Y] up from me[:)]
Ben.
almost original? what made it not totally original apart from relocating the number plate?
very very very clean nice example
probably the cleanest I have seen
For 19 years old that is absolutely stunning.
Clearly you take graet pride in your car…any secrets behind that deep shine?
Looks fantastic. Good to see an MX5 in standard form.
Contender for any possible future ‘Concours’ at one of the rallies me thinks !!
The car is factory fresh, 36k on the clock, all standard except a new exhaust, new brake pipe and a new battery evey couple years, put the standard radio back in a couple years ago, plenty of polishing keeps it looking good
The front number plate is sprayed onto the grill, masked the letters out and sprayed the white on, peeled off the masking tape to reveal the letters, so no problem about the air flow to the radiator, not sure about the MOT though, will keep you posted
Have to agree with Ady one of the best in std form and could win lots at the rallies, so bring it along!!!

Just noticed the radio - same as one I have in a box in the garage but don’t know that much about it.
Is it AM/FM or just AM - and can you run an MP3 player through the CD input?
Thanks.
The radio is pretty basic by todays standards, it is AM and FM, not sure if the CD input can be used with an MP3 player, never used it
Fastcol, your car looks wonderful.
I really like the way the interior is detailed; it looks not only original but well maintained… and that is the best look. Thank you for your detailed photographs they will be a great resource for many owners in the future.
I notice your radio is different from those supplied as original equipment on Australian delivered cars. It is differences like that we ought to be recording.
