- The bodywork on this MX5 is really outstanding for it’s year, you can still see the spot welds on each of the rear arches. If you’re looking for a largely original MK1 MX5 that doesn’t need any welding work, this is the car for you. While is has been with us it has had a cam belt and water pump, along with a service. It was MOT’d by us last year and has barely moved since. We got distracted with other projects!
The exterior looks stunning! The Chaste White paint really shines, although you may find the odd age related mark here and there, for it’s age it is in brilliant condition. The factory 14" Daisy alloys provide both comfort and the classic look that the MK1s have. The hood is a black mohair cloth roof from a MK2.5; no need to worry about the vinyl cracking or shrinking. The glass, heated rear window means no more orange, cracked plastic rear screens!
The interior has been fitted with black leather seats, black roadster floor mats, a Momo steering wheel, and a very clean carpet set. - Photo’s of the car
