A write off of my other car has forced my hand and I now need to sell my red 1993 UK MX5 Mk1 which I have owned for the last 3 and a bit years.
Used in summer dry weather only - I keep it under cover when not in use. Currently on 101,084 miles and shows a few signs of those miles externally but actually does still look good - see pics.
Needed some welding to get through the last MOT. 4 x Pirelli tyres with legal tread but showing signs of age. Current MOT expires July and is already booked in for next test. Internally original seats, carpet, steering wheel etc all in very good nick.
Very reliable, home serviced with lots of previous receipts and paperwork.
No mods, engine bay nice and clean, engine runs very well, good oil pressure, no overheating, cam belt and water pump changed in 2016 at c96,000 miles, gearshift is excellent - lever serviced with genuine parts also in 2016, new clutch master cylinder 2018.

Alarm/immobiliser, power steering, electric windows, mohair hood fitted by MX5 Parts in 2016 with glass hrw (albeit not wired up). New stereo in 2018 (the original had already gone when I bought the car) incorporating DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB, iPod/Phone functions, hands-free phone connection (microphone mounted on steering column). Replacement door speakers. Chrome ‘roll-over’ hoops.
