2001 California

I have a wonderful 2001 limited edition sunburst yellow California and don’t know what to do with her ,restoration to her original speck or up grade her , all I seem to hear is original is best for keeping the cars values any comments would be helpful

Sure you’ll get lots of different opinions, but for me, original…

The Mk2 California is work a mild upgrade, because I think Mazda specced the UK models a little on the basic side (manual windows for instance)>

If you are going to keep the car, then it is up to you what you do. If you are worried about potential future value of a car being “not-standard”, then only do things that can be reversed. However I would say that as long as any improvements are actually that and are both tasteful, removable and useful, then there should not be a problem. If it were a £10m Ferrari, I would be more concerned, but as it is not, I would get it perfect for you and not worry too much about it.

My opinion… a little TLC
For me its like…some girls just dont need make-up, their beautiful as is
