Hello there, I have a 2002 Trilogy which does not have remote locking as standard. I have purchased a second hand factory keyless entry module and fob. I have been told that the connection for this is behind the glove compartment. I have removed the glove compartment but cannot find the connector anywhere. Does anyone know if the Trilogy loom is different or is the connector tucked away somewhere I cannot see.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />Thanks in advance for any help.Simon
Unused connectors are usually taped to the loom with blue tape. I have a feeling though that cars that didn’t have factory keyless entry don’t have the wiring either. You are correct in that the unit is located behind the glove box, the keyless unit wire drops down out of the harness that runs across the dash above the glove box.
Thanks for the reply, I will have another look tomorrow. I have the wiring diagram so all I need is the connector and I could make my owm loom.

Did you ever sort this problem. I’m just about to attempt the same on my 2002 Mk 2.5 using a remote module aquired from Autolink.
