2005 Mk2.5 Fog Lights

Hi this is my first post, I just bought a 2005 mk 2.5 and I need some front fog lights to fill the holes in.
Any ideas where I can get some with out them costing a fortune.
Regards

There are a bunch of guys who break cars for a living and can sell you some for about a tenner each. There may also be some in the parts for sale section of this forum.

Many thanks

Hi, I corrected your topic title to make it easier for people to respond to.

If on a real budget, I’m sure the various projector fog lights/driving lights cous be made to Fit. As I recall, these lamps were also fitted in Citroen (Picassos, Berlingos)

MX5parts sells an afermarket set, but I suppose thse qualify as costing a fortune:

Otherwise hunt for used lights (going rate is £25-30 each), and wire up using the Ring wiring kit fromm Halfords etc (includes relays etc)

With the generic lamps, you are likely to need to make a bracket of some kind.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve just bought this as a first MX5 and love it.
I’m trying to remind my self not to spend to much money on what was a cheap car in the first place, it would be so easy to carried away.

The struggle is real–and one familiar to all of us here!

Good luck with that. :grinning:

You’ll have so much fun in your MX5 you’ll stop worrying about it.
